By downloading, installing, or using SquadCheck, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
SquadCheck is an iOS app that helps you build habits and stay accountable with friends. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and SquadCheck.
You must be at least 13 years old to use SquadCheck. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Please give accurate information when you sign up and let us know at support@squadcheck.app if you think your account has been compromised.
SquadCheck offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("SquadCheck Premium") that unlock additional features. • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the selected plan. • You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew by going to your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Current pricing is displayed in the app before you purchase. Prices may change; we'll give you notice before any price change takes effect on your subscription.
You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple ID Account Settings — cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their policy at support.apple.com. We can't issue refunds directly.
You keep ownership of everything you create in SquadCheck — check-ins, notes, voice memos, photos, messages, and journal entries. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content only as needed to run the features you use (for example, showing your check-in to your group members). You're responsible for the content you post. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, and don't share content that harasses, threatens, or harms others.
Don't use SquadCheck to: • Harass, bully, threaten, or impersonate other users. • Post hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content. • Spam, phish, or scam other users. • Reverse engineer the app, bypass our security, or attempt to access data you don't own. • Use the app for anything illegal. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, and we tolerate no abusive behavior — reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours.
If you see content or behavior that violates these Terms, use the in-app report and block tools. Reports go to our team for review. You can also email us at support@squadcheck.app.
SquadCheck can read data from Apple Health with your permission to power health-based challenges and Insights. We never write to Apple Health. You can revoke Health access anytime in the Health app under Apps & Devices.
SquadCheck uses Firebase (Google) for backend infrastructure and Apple's services for sign-in, notifications, and in-app purchases. Your use of the app is also subject to those providers' terms.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
SquadCheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or meet your needs. SquadCheck is not a medical, mental health, or fitness professional service — always consult a qualified professional for health decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SquadCheck is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use SquadCheck after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SquadCheck operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
